SUPPORTED HOUSING REGULATORY OVERSIGHT BILL
A minority of unscrupulous agencies are exploiting gaps in the regulatory regime to claim higher benefit levels while providing minimal levels of support, often resulting in poor housing conditions and ineffective care and support for vulnerable residents.
We cannot allow these practices to continue.
It is clear that swift action is needed to safeguard the interests of those whose life chances are already being damaged by poor quality exempt provision and to prevent further escalation of the problem.
