ACTION ON HOSPICE CARE
Today I had the welcome opportunity of joining colleagues from across our region to meet with Chief Executives of St Teresa's Hospice, Teesside Hospice, Alice House Hospice, and Butterwick Hospice Care to discuss the provision of palliative care in our communities following the important changes in the Health & Social Care Act which now requires our NHS to make provision for these services.
Regardless of our political persuasions, we are unified in our mission to secure the high-quality palliative our constituents so rightly deserve should they ever need it.
