£𝟮 𝗕𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲: 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹

The £2 Bus Fare scheme is a fantastic initiative, but residents in Cornforth have found themselves being charged twice to get to the shops in Spennymoor since there is no longer a direct service.

Somehow it doesn’t strike me as fair, why should Cornforth residents have to pay twice simply because they don’t have a direct route?

I decided to raise the issue with the Minister and I look forward to seeing a speedy resolution.
