It has been the greatest honour of my life to serve the Sedgefield constituency as its MP, and I will continue to do so until May 30th.
Thereafter, I will cease be the MP for Sedgefield and will become the Conservative parliamentary candidate for the new constituency of Newton Aycliffe and Spennymo
Today the Prime Minister has confirmed that the Triple Lock will be protected, as has always been the case.
Our manifesto pledged to maintain the Triple Lock and I am completely committed to upholding that promise.
