Transport Select Committee Visit
It was a pleasure to join my parliamentary colleagues for a visit to Wayve for the next instalment of the Transport Committee’s inquiry into self-driving vehicles.
As self-driving technology (once the stuff of driving dreams) is getting closer, it’s the Committee’s job to consider the progress of research and work in the UK and abroad and what needs to happen to prepare for their arrival.
This includes regulation, perceptions of safety, the role of Government, implications for infrastructure and for existing car use.
The visit saw Wayve demonstrate its unique AV2.0 approach and we discussed Wayve's commercial roadmap.
Overall a very informative visit!
