President Putin has violated Ukrainian sovereignty and international law by sending troops into eastern Ukraine.
Russian aggression is unacceptable, that’s why I welcome the immediate introduction of economic sanctions targeting Russian economic interests.
This crisis is about more than Ukrainian sovereignty, it’s also about the survival of democracy itself.
#Russian militarism cannot be allowed to triumph; the UK & its allies remain firm in our conviction to achieve a workable solution through diplomatic means.
