Paul Howell, MP for Sedgefield says, "I am one of 60 Conservative MPs who have written to the BBC to make known that we vehemently disagree with the decision taken by them to end free TV Licences for the over 75s.
"A lot of Sedgefield constituents have written to me on this subject. I believe that the BBC is making entirely the wrong decision and I know that the majority of people in Sedgefield constituency want free TV Licences to continue for the over 75’s."
