Excellent meeting of the APPG for Coalfield Communities, discussing the top priorities for regenerating our communities moving forward. 
As vice-chair of the APPG for Left Behind Neighbourhoods, I was pleased to contribute a unique perspective to the discussions. Whilst there is significant overlap between the two APPGs, coalfield communities require their own dedicated focus in Parliament and it was a welcome opportunity to feed my constituents’ feedback into the latest round of cross-party discussions. 
Colleagues and I discussed progress on the 10 point plan including support for industry, jobs, connectivity infrastructure & a better deal on miners pensions.
