🚆 HITACHI ACTION 🚆
After a productive engagement with the Hitachi team earlier this week and discussions with Ministers, I was glad to advocate for Hitachi once again in the Chamber.
South Eastern trains have opened up a procurement opportunity for Hitachi to pursue, and I'm pleased to report ongoing positive discussions for other opportunities. While there's optimism for mitigating concerns, there's still much work ahead.
Interestingly, despite the fervor in recent transport discussions, there were strangely no questions from the opposition benches. Why the silence on such an important issue? 🤔 🥀
