The Leamside Line and Northern Powerhouse Rail

I welcomed the commitment to invest in #NorthernPowerhouseRail and asked for plans to be put in place to bring the Leamside Line into the full #rail project.

The new Transport Secretary said #transportinfrastructure is critical to helping grow the economy. I couldn’t agree with her more.

I've been fighting to make the Leamside line a priority and I will not rest until the first spades are put into the ground.
