***COST OF LIVING SUPPORT***
So many people from across the constituency have been in touch sharing their real concerns for what the future holds and what the rising cost of living means for them, their family, their household and, for many, their business.
Russia’s illegal and unjustified invasion of Ukraine has fuelled inflation and the cost of energy around the world. No one and no country is immune.
Let me assure you, I am working around the clock in Parliament to ensure your voice is heard and that Ministers direct Government support at those most in need. I also welcome the wide range of support already unveiled including schemes to give every household £400 in the Energy Bills Support Scheme, the Pensioner Cost of Living Payment of up to £300 and the Cost of Living Payment of £650 for eligible people on certain means-tested benefits.
But with Winter ahead, I know more financial help is needed as well as practical help and support. No one should feel they are alone. Help is available. The Government, organisations and businesses have a range of schemes and support available for you.
That’s why I have put together this Cost of Living Help Guide which includes information about how you can access the advice, help and support available for you.

Organisations such as Citizens Advice, can assist you with a wide range of issues from financial advice to smart ways to reduce your cost of living. They offer knowledge and provide confidence to people who need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. Money Helper is another useful service, providing support on money management and debt issues.
Do not hesitate to get in touch if you need any further advice.
